Alot can happen in a week.

My nasty ear infection cleared up. And I got to wear a prom dress and makeup last week at Fear Fest. BUT - it was Freezing last weekend! Froze my ass off in that damn dress. Most likely as a result of this, I got a cold. Started lightly bothering me early in the week and by Friday it was a full blown cold. I had to miss the last weekend of Fear Fest. It's ok though. To be perfectly honest I was getting a bit tired of it. I don't think I will do it again. I still LOVE Halloween, but working there 11 hours a day every Saturday and Sunday was getting a bit old. I feel as though it took away from my enjoyment of the season.

So I worked my first week at Dillards. It was ok. They pretty much still do the same shit I remember doing 11 years ago. I was hoping to meet some people there, but the only girl there that is close to my age is not really my type. She is pregnant, due in April. She also has another kid with another daddy. A black daddy. Who skipped out the day he found out she was pregnant. He gave her $500 for an abortion and said to leave him out of it. This past week she was looking forward to getting her food stamps so she could finally get some food in the house. M'kay.
